WHAT IS METAL LIKE PLA?
Our Metal Like PLA filament range will shine and shimmer just like the real thing. It is a specialised mixture of a metal with a binding polymer. It has good tensile strength and will not clog or wear your nozzle. It has low shrinkage properties and high thermoforming dimensional stability. If you are after that special metal look, then this is the filament you have been looking for.
PLA plastic or polylactic acid is a vegetable-based plastic material, which commonly uses cornstarch as a raw material. This material is a thermoplastic aliphatic polyester and it is the primary natural raw material used in 3D printing. PLA is a fully biodegradable thermoplastic polymer consisting of renewable raw materials. Among all 3D printing materials, PLA is one of the most popular materials used for additive manufacturing.
