Introducing TENSILE™, our revolutionary resin designed for high-strength, low-flex applications in various industries. With its exceptional green strength and an eye-watering tensile rating of 86.7Mpa, TENSILE™ is a resin printing game-changer. This industrial engineering polymer offers an excellent surface finish and prints with ultra-high accuracy of 32K, minimizing failures.

TENSILE™ is preferred because strength and precision are critical, making it ideal for industrial, automotive, consumer goods, and engineering applications. It remains rigid and stiff while printing and can withstand stress and strain after post-curing. The material is easily machined, painted, sanded, or polished for further finishing if required.

THE WORLDS STRONGEST RESIN?

We recommend using TENSILE™ resin if you intend to 3D print models that you want to remain rigid and hard yet withstand stress and strain without being brittle.

This video was shot at The Worlds Strongest Man Competition in Broke, New South Wales, Australia. The TENSILE™ link was printed on a standard desktop MSLA printer using a 50-micron layer height. The model was post-cured using a typical 50 Watt 405nm Cure-Box.

The event in the video is the 5 Tonne Truck Pull. We had previously tested this link style and type, lifting a 915kg concrete block using a forklift in a controlled environment.

Impressively (but not surprisingly), this link stood up to multiple. “truck-pulls” without failure. The model is proudly on display at our headquarters in Sydney, Australia.

TENSILE™ FINISHING

TENSILE™ is preferred because strength and precision are critical, making it ideal for industrial, automotive, consumer goods, and engineering applications. It remains rigid and stiff while printing and can withstand stress and strain after post-curing. The material is easily machined, painted, sanded, or polished for further finishing if required.

Post-curing is crucial for maximum tensile properties, typically achieved by using a 40-50 watt 405nm curing unit for a minimum of 30 minutes or up to 1-2 hours.

Proper cleaning is essential, especially for hollowed-out models. We recommend using RESINAWAY® to ensure the effective removal of any trapped residual resin. TENSILE™ provides superior strength, 32K high-resolution printing, an easy-to-print formula, and an incredibly smooth finish. Calibration models can help achieve exceptional precision by dialling in the printer and resin settings.
