Monocure3D Denture Base Resin is a clear dental 3D printing resin system developed for producing denture bases with professional MSLA and DLP printers.

The clear base gives dental technicians control over the final gingival shade. It can be used clear or customised with Monocure3D Denture Base Toners to create natural-looking pink shades for individual patients.

For colouring, a 10% toner addition by weight is the recommended starting point. Less toner creates a lighter, more translucent appearance, while more toner creates a stronger, more solid colour. Toner shades can also be blended together to fine-tune the final result.

Available in dedicated MSLA and DLP formulations, with 1kg and 5kg pack sizes.

Build Your Own Denture Base Resin System

Create the denture base colour and quantity that suits your laboratory with the Monocure3D Denture Base Resin + TrueShade Toner System.

Start by selecting the Denture Base Resin formulation designed for your printer technology, available in dedicated MSLA and DLP formulations. Then choose either a 1kg or 5kg pack size.

Next, select from the TrueShade range of concentrated gingival toners. Choose a single shade, combine several shades, or order multiple bottles of the same colour.

Choose from four TrueShade gingival colours

P1 - Light Pink
A light gingival pink for softer and more translucent colour reproduction.

P2 - Natural Pink
A balanced natural gingival shade suitable as a versatile starting colour.

P3 - Mid Pink
A stronger mid-tone pink for increased gingival colour intensity.

P4 - Dark Pink
A deeper gingival pink that can be used alone or blended with lighter shades.

Control the final shade

TrueShade toners are concentrated colouring resins designed specifically for use with Monocure3D Denture Base Resin.

A 10% toner addition by weight is the recommended starting point. For example, 500g of toner is ideally sized to colour approximately 5kg of Denture Base Resin at the standard concentration.

Use less toner when a lighter or more translucent appearance is required, or increase the concentration for a stronger, more opaque result.

Different TrueShade colours can also be blended together to fine-tune the final gingival shade. For example, P2 Natural Pink can be deepened with a small addition of P3 Mid Pink or P4 Dark Pink.

Build the system you need

Simply:

1. Choose your Denture Base
Select MSLA or DLP, then choose 1kg or 5kg.

2. Choose your TrueShade Toner(s)
Select one or more shades and adjust the quantity of each toner as required.

Your selected products are then added together to create your customised denture resin system.

Important: TrueShade Dental Toners are concentrated colourants designed to be mixed with Monocure3D Denture Base Resin. They are not intended to be printed as a standalone resin.

TrueShade™ Denture Base Toners are pre-formulated colour concentrates developed specifically for Monocure3D Clear Denture Base Resin.

Simply select your preferred shade, choose either a 5% semi-translucent or 10% opaque result, then mix by weight to achieve a consistent, natural-looking denture base colour.

The same TrueShade™ toner system can be used with both Monocure3D DLP and MSLA Clear Denture Base Resins.

SHAKE WELL

Shake the TrueShade™ Toner thoroughly before measuring. The colour concentrate must be completely uniform before use.

WEIGH ACCURATELY

Weigh the calculated amount of Clear Denture Base Resin and TrueShade™ Toner using accurate digital scales.

MIX THOROUGHLY

Add the measured toner to the Clear Denture Base Resin and mix slowly and thoroughly until the colour is completely uniform.

SCRAPE THE CONTAINER

Scrape the sides and bottom of the mixing container to ensure all toner is incorporated evenly.

AVOID EXCESS AIR

Mix carefully to minimise introducing unnecessary air bubbles into the resin.

ALLOW BUBBLES TO SETTLE

After mixing, allow any incorporated air bubbles to settle before filling the printer vat.

MIX AGAIN BEFORE PRINTING

Give the prepared resin a gentle final mix immediately before pouring it into the printer vat.

PROTECT FROM UV

Keep the toner and mixed resin away from direct sunlight and unnecessary UV exposure during preparation.

IMPORTANT

TrueShade™ Toner is a concentrated colouring formulation and must not be printed on its own.

Always shake the toner thoroughly before use. Use clean mixing equipment to prevent contamination between shades.

The selected quantity in this calculator is the total finished resin quantity, including both Clear Denture Base Resin and TrueShade™ Toner.

For best repeatability, record the amount of Clear Denture Base Resin and TrueShade™ Toner used for each case.

Post Processing

Follow the recommended cleaning, drying and post-curing process for consistent TrueShade™ Denture Base results.

Clean Thoroughly

Use a two-stage ResinAway cleaning process to remove uncured resin. Use the first wash for the initial clean, followed by a second, cleaner ResinAway wash. Finish with RinseOFF to remove any remaining cleaning residue before drying.

Dry Completely

After washing, dry the part thoroughly using clean compressed air. Pay particular attention to recesses, tooth sockets and internal areas where liquid may remain. Ensure the entire part is completely dry before post-curing.

405 nm UV Cure

Place the cleaned and fully dried part into a suitable 405 nm UV post-curing unit. Position the part so the UV light can reach all surfaces as evenly as possible for consistent curing throughout the denture base.

60°C · 45 Minutes

Post-cure at 60°C for 45 minutes using 405 nm UV light. Maintaining the recommended temperature and cure time helps achieve the intended final material properties and provides a consistent, fully cured result.

Always ensure the printed part is thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and completely dry before post-curing. Refer to the applicable Instructions for Use and Technical Data Sheet for the complete validated workflow.
