IncredaFILL® Skim Coat is the easy-to-sand version of our IncredaFILL® Heavy Duty filler. It's formulated with micro hollow spheres that break down effortlessly under sandpaper, making it ideal for skim coating and finishing large surface areas where smooth, effortless sanding matters most.
Like Heavy Duty, it's a UV-curing urethane filler that cures in around 5 seconds under a 405 nm UV light, with no mixing required. Ready to use straight from the tub for filling, rebuilding, and finishing plastics, timber, composites, and 3D printed parts.
IncredaFILL® Skim Coat is the easy-sand evolution of our original IncredaFILL Heavy Duty filler. Customers loved the strength and instant UV cure of Heavy Duty, but the one thing we heard again and again was that it could be tough to sand back. So we went to work on a new formula — Skim Coat is the same amazing IncredaFILL performance, just built to sand dramatically easier.
Skim Coat is formulated with micro hollow spheres that break down effortlessly under sandpaper, making it perfect for quick jobs, skim coating, and fine finishing work. Use it on its own, as a top layer over Heavy Duty IncredaFILL, over other fillers, or directly onto almost any surface — plastics, timber, composites, and 3D printed parts included.
Like the rest of the IncredaFILL range, it cures in seconds under a 405nm UV light, with no mixing and no waiting. Once cured, it can be sanded, drilled, machined, and painted just like Heavy Duty — only easier.
Built-in cure indicator
Skim Coat includes a colour-changing pigment that reacts to UV light, so you always know exactly when it's ready. Thicker sections stay white until fully cured, then turn purple briefly right through the full depth of the material — a clear visual cue that curing has gone all the way through, not just on the surface. No more guessing whether you've held the light long enough.
