Monocure3D PLATEBOND is a specially formulated adhesion promoter designed to help resin 3D prints stick securely to the build plate from the very first layer.
Developed for use with UV-cured photopolymer resin systems, PLATEBOND creates a reliable interface between the build plate and the first printed layer. This helps improve adhesion during the early stages of printing, reducing the risk of first-layer separation, curling, lifting, and warping.
PLATEBOND is ideal for difficult prints, large surface-area models, older or worn build plates, and situations where reliable first-layer adhesion is harder to achieve. It is also useful when printing in colder environments, where resin flow and adhesion can become less consistent.
Simple to apply, PLATEBOND is used by spreading a thin, even layer onto a clean build plate before printing. During the initial exposure phase, the material cures with the resin to help form a strong base layer, improving print reliability from the ground up.
