Chairman

Alan Anderson

With over 50 years of experience in the industrial chemical industry, Alan has been at the forefront of UV curing technology. His career started in Denmark, learning how to formulate adhesives in his uncle’s factory. With his newfound knowledge, Alan returned to Australia and in early 1968 created Staybond Pty Ltd, manufacturing adhesives to the buoyant local packaging industry. Since then, he has owned and run several companies in Australia and joint ventures in both China and Hong Kong.

As the recently appointed Chairman of the new Monocure 3D, Alan’s legacy of knowledge and experience is the backbone of the business. He is now supporting his son, Charlie, as he takes over the day to day challenges of running the business. “I’m proud of what Charlie has achieved in the relatively short time he has been working with me at Monocure. I’m happy he can see the advantages of continuing to manufacture locally and excited for the future of the new Monocure 3D.” Comments, Alan.

DIRECTOR

Charlie Anderson

In a previous life, Charlie worked in the TV industry in Australia and abroad for over 20 years. He started working at Monocure in 2014, when his father, Alan, asked him to join his industrial chemical business developing and manufacturing surface coatings for the print, packaging and label industries. A far cry from the TV directors chair, but he was ready for a new challenge!

In 2016, under Charlie’s instruction, the development team created Australia’s first 3D Printer Resin, and Monocure3D was born. Over the next few years, Charlie was the driving force in transforming the company to focus solely on 3D printing consumables and accessories. His involvement and interest in the 3D printing industry are vital as he supports the growing list of customers and resellers locally and overseas.

Charlie recognises that the 3D printing industry is still in its infancy. Through dedicated technical support, Charlie knows the importance of education. “If we can teach the people how to use this technology today, the advantages to nearly all industries in the future is phenomenal,” says Charlie.

Operations

Joshua Gover

After returning from 20 years living in Scotland and working in the hospitality sector, Joshua returned to Australia seeking a career change. He joined Monocure in 2016, where he quickly proved himself as a well organised, hard worker dedicated to the job. Joshua was promoted rapidly to Warehouse Manager in 2018 when he was responsible for sending and receiving goods and stock management. As the 3D business grew, Joshua’s role became consumed by fulfilling the 3D orders. He has been instrumental to the success of M3D by assisting Charlie with the day to day running of the business, which includes, but not limited to, picking, packing & dispatch of orders, hiring new staff, stock management, product manufacturing, marketing & promotional ideas. He is very excited by the future of Monocure3D; his long hours, dedication and loyalty to the company have been outstanding. If there is motorsport on, Joshua will be trackside or watching on TV with great interest!

Maeva Leneveu

A French National, Maeva joined the Monocure 3D family in February 2020. In her relatively short time, she has proven to be an instrumental part of the team. She is a qualified architect who had experience with 3D printers in previous jobs. Her role as content administrator involves the up-keep of the existing content on the website, creating fresh content for social media and editing the YouTube channel. Maeva’s computer skills are impressive, with the ability to learn new programs quickly and become competent in driving them. With these skills, she can assist Charlie with all aspects of the business, including TradeGecko (stock management software), Quickbooks (accounting software), Woo Commerce (e-commerce website) and 3D design in several programs. In her spare time, Maeva makes the most of the warm Sydney climate by rock climbing, snorkelling and surfing.

Purchasing

Nicola Gover

Nikki started her life in Scotland, then moved with her husband, Joshua and their two children to find warmth in Australia. She has taken on the Monocure 3D purchasing role with efficiency & enthusiasm. Nikki is not afraid of hard work; straight out of school, she landed a role as an office junior and then had several customer service positions. Before she embarked on motherhood, Nikki worked her way up to the Assistant Manager at Clinton’s stationery in the UK. Now, we are privileged to have her strong work ethos and vast experience at Monocure 3D. When Nikki is not at work or looking after the kids, she enjoys watching motorsport with Joshua and loves to read a good book (when she finds the time!)
