Monocure3D Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all retail customers purchasing Monocure3D products via our website. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Product Faults & Returns

Under Australian Consumer Law (NSW Fair Trading), you are entitled to a replacement, repair or refund if the product you purchased is faulty, not as described, or does not perform as advertised.

Return Period: Returns are accepted within 3 months of the purchase date, provided the product is deemed faulty by our Quality Control laboratory. The final decision on whether a product is defective rests with Monocure3D’s internal assessment.

Refunds: A full refund will be issued if the batch is found to be faulty.

Exchanges / Store Credit: If the product is not faulty but is unsuitable for the customer’s printer or application, we may offer an exchange or store credit at our discretion.

Return Shipping:

  • If the fault is confirmed, Monocure3D will provide a prepaid return shipping label.
  • If the product is returned for reasons other than fault, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

Order Cancellations: Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of being placed. After this time, the order may have been dispatched and cannot be cancelled.

International Orders: The same return and exchange conditions apply to international retail orders.

2. CustomMix Products

CustomMix products are eligible for refund or exchange under the same fault-based conditions listed above. However, it is the customer’s responsibility to follow the mixing instructions provided on our website.

Failure to follow these instructions, including improper mixing ratios or incorrect curing techniques, may result in unsatisfactory outcomes and will not be considered a fault of the product.

3. Use, Compatibility & Storage

Our products are developed for professional use and require an understanding of resin 3D printing processes. Please read the instructions carefully and follow all safety precautions.

Important Usage Notes:

  • UV resin is a light-reactive material that requires careful handling.
  • Ensure your workspace is light-safe, avoiding direct sunlight and UV exposure.
  • Not all 3D printers, resins, and release films are compatible. Settings may vary and must be dialled in for each combination.
  • Mixing Monocure3D resin with third-party resins, pigments or additives is not recommended and voids warranty.
  • Misuse, misunderstanding of the product, or failure to set up the product correctly can result in print failure or damage to the equipment. These outcomes are not considered a product fault.
  • Damage to 3d printers, vats, build plates, LCD screens or any hardware due to leaks or incorrect setup is not the responsibility of Monocure3D.

Storage Conditions:

  • Store all resin products between 0°c and 45°c (32°f and 113°f).
  • Exposure to temperatures outside this range during storage or shipping may affect product performance. Monocure3D is not liable for damage due to storage or transit conditions beyond our control.

If you are unsure about a product, its compatibility, or usage, please contact us before making a purchase. We are happy to guide you in making the right choice.
