Product Description:

Our Matte Additive Concentrate is specifically formulated to be mixed with Monocure3D’s Resin, providing a high-quality matte finish to your 3D-printed parts. This additive is designed to diffuse light, reduce gloss, and enhance the surface texture of your printed models. It is ideal for applications where a non-reflective surface is desired and perfect for creating professional, aesthetically pleasing prints.

Key Features:

  • Smooth Matte Finish: Achieve a professional, non-reflective surface from the printer.
  • Paint-Ready Surface: Models can be painted immediately after printing without priming, saving time and effort.
  • Customisable: Tailor the mix to suit your specific project requirements, whether for detailed miniatures or large-scale models.
  • Versatile Application: Suitable for various 3D printing projects, from prototyping to finished goods.
  • Easy Integration: Seamlessly works with our existing range of resins and additives, providing consistent results.

Usage Instructions:

  1. Mixing Ratio: Add the Matting Additive Concentrate to Monocure3D Resin at the recommended ratio of 20:80. Stir thoroughly to ensure even distribution. (For example, mix 20 grams of Matting Additive with 80 grams of Monocure3D Tensile Resin. To make 1000 grams, mix 200 grams of MA with 800 grams of Tensile resin.) You can mix less into the final product if you require a less matte finish. Adjust as you need, as this product contains a photo-initiator, so the printability settings should not change.
  2. Printing: Use the mixed resin in your DLP or MSLA 3D printer as usual. Adjust print settings if necessary to accommodate any changes in resin viscosity.
  3. Colour: Since you are mixing a clear product into a pigmented product, the finished product’s colour may vary.
  4. Post-Processing: Follow standard post-processing procedures for Tensile Resin prints. The matte finish will be apparent once the model is cured and cleaned. Ensure you take extra care when cleaning the models, as matting additives can be more complex and take longer to clean off the uncured resin.

Technical Specifications:

  • Appearance: Hazy semi-transparent liquid
  • Compatibility: Monocure3D Resin (All Colours)
  • Shelf Life: 12 months when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight

Warning: This product is a concentrate and cannot be printed alone. It must be mixed with Monocure3D Tensile Resin before use. Failure to do so will result in improper print quality and potential damage to your 3D printer. We will not take any responsibility for any damage caused to your equipment or resins due to improper use of this product.

Our Matting Additive Concentrate is the perfect solution for achieving a professional matte finish on your 3D printed parts, enhancing their appearance and functionality.
